About Your Session

The most important thing about our session is to make your child comfortable and to have fun. We can do in studio portraits or on location sessions. I really suggest that for any children older than a year that we get outside and get them relaxed and having fun. Please do not be afraid to let your child run, dance, sing, laugh or goof off.

Most sessions typically last between 1- 2 hours. On location sessions are primarily captured with natural light. Because of this, these sessions need to be scheduled for either early morning or later in the afternoon. In studio sessions use professional lighting and are offered in my home. I offer a variety of backgrounds and some props. If a favorite blanket or stuffed animal will help your child relax however, then we can certainly attempt to incorporate those into the portraits.

So I’ve had a heap full of amazing news to share over the past week.  And so now its MY turn to pay it forward to my WONDERFUL fans.  At 9am tomorrow, I am starting a giveaway for a FREE mini session and 25 Christmas cards.  ALL FREE.  NO minimum order required.  No session fee.  No purchase required.  I’m giving you 30 minutes of MY time and talent, 5-7 proofs in an online gallery and then a set of free (5×7 flat) Christmas cards of YOUR choice (from my card gallery).   You have TWO chances to win.  I will be starting a thread on my Facebook fan page (have you checked it out??!) AND I will create a new blog post here.  Starting at 9am you can comment on each (just once per location, PLEASE!) and then I will randomly pick a winner (with a random number generator).

Mini session details: The mini sessions will be held on Monday, November 15th (I will have a back-up date set in case it rains), in the later afternoon.  Please be sure that if you are entering the contest, this actually works for YOU!
